AXIA, Yunanistan’ın Atina kentinde bulunan tarihi Panathinaiko Stadyumu’ndan (Kallimarmaro olarak da bilinir) esinlenmiştir. M.Ö. 330 yılına dayanan stadyum, 1896’da düzenlenen ilk modern Olimpiyat Oyunları’na ev sahipliği yapmış ve Olimpiyat ruhunun dikkate değer bir sembolü olmaya devam etmiştir.
Çok katmanlı görünecek şekilde tasarlanan çerçeveler, el işçiliğiyle oyulmuş yarım daire veya dairesel dalgalarla süslenmiştir. Bu dalgalar, stadyumun hafif kavisli kenarlarını ve oturma sıralarını andırır.
