RAFI BAYSAL
2DRafi Baysal (Ankara, 1992) graduated from Maltepe University Visual Communication and Design department. She first had the chance to show her photos as a finalist in XOXO The Mag magazine's The Chance Creative Challenge contest, which she participated in in 2012. As part of Istanbul’74, she benefited from Gail Albert Halaban's experiences in the Out My Window project in Istanbul. He is still continuing his photography studies, especially in the fields of cinema and music, in Izmir.
When Rafi Baysal uses psychics related to photography, he transforms space into a medium like a technical commodity with the depth of character and prop. While marking time and space with a cinematic perception, he presents his interrogation without establishing power to the person looking at the photo, by opening a space to the person looking at it.
