2DMina Havutcu was born in 2001 in Istanbul. She studied at TED Istanbul College Private High School. In 2024, she completed her undergraduate degree in Economics at Koç University and did a minor in Media and Visual Arts.
For the past two years, she has been working on photography. Instead of creating a specific meaning in her photographs, she prefers to capture the meaning she is in pursuit of. Her style is based on evoking feelings rather than showing. She is curious about emotions and stories, adopting a simple yet familiar language. Without adhering to a strict color discipline, she works freely, producing according to how she feels in the moment.
