STRANGE QUARK UED
2DUğur Engin Deniz, nicknamed Strange Quark UED (1979, Istanbul), started working on video art, experimental cinema and 3D computer graphics after completing his undergraduate education. Since 2008, UED has participated in numerous installations, stage operations and various group and solo exhibitions. His concepts revolve around the philosophy of science, the sociology of technology, the coming posthuman era (not as an -ism, but as a prediction of future possibilities). Areas of interest; on optical phenomenology, disruptions to traditional methods in computer graphics, and their emergence. In 2021, he began to use the complementary identity of his old and new production under the pseudonym "Strange Quark". He exhibited his works in important group exhibitions such as "Creative Code Festival". He had solo exhibitions in New York, “/ 'fu: bar / glitch art expo” in 2020, Zagreb in 2016-2019 and L'Unique and Digital Zone Galleries in 2020, and Escape Universel, Paris, France in 2016.
