TAMER NAKIŞÇI
4DTamer Nakışçı (Istanbul, 1982), an artist with an interdisciplinary approach, completed his undergraduate education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Industrial Design. The artist, who was invited to the prestigious Fiat Advanced Design Concept Lab in Milan and won his first award in 2005 with the Nokia 888 concept, pursues his strong vision and curiosity for the future and handles ideas, forms, emotions, materials and technology with an innovative attitude.
Tamer Nakışçı, who constructs new scenarios between people, space and objects in his interdisciplinary works ranging from industrial design to interactive installations, has been deemed worthy of many international awards such as Good Design, Wallpaper* Design Awards and iF Product Design Awards with his designs. He took part in important platforms such as Villa Noailles, Royal Academy of Arts, Art Basel Hong Kong. Tamer Nakışçı, who was included in the list of "100 Young Talents Who Will Determine the Creative Future of Europe" by the European Union in 2009, is one of the 10 Turkish Contemporary Artists who should be recognized according to the international art platform Artsy.
